Plastering Testimonial: Hazel Grove, Stockport

This plastering job was for Fraser and Kathryn in Hazel Grove. They had some very loose plaster that had to be removed in the dining room, then I applied pva to control the suction on the bare brick, this was followed by a coat of bonding plaster, then all walls were reskimmed using febond gripcoat and skimmed with multifinish. The dining room ceiling had loads of cracks in it so we decided to overboard with plasterboard and skim. The kitchen ceiling had an artex type pattern that was applied in the noughties, which I scraped and applied febond gripcoat and skimmed. Please note that artex applied before 1985-ish contained small amounts of asbestos so if you are considering a similar job please get your ceiling checked first. There are web sites online with all the details you need to do this.
