Plaster Repair of Cracked Bedroom Wall: Romiley, Stockport

The plaster around one of the bedroom windows of this property in Romiley, Stockport, was badly cracked due to historic settlement. All loose and cracked plaster was removed and the walls treated with PVA Bond to stabilise the surfaces and ensure good adhesion of plaster. The cracks and faults were patched using an external rendering mesh for increased strength around the joints before the whole wall was re-skimmed to give a smooth plaster finish suitable for the room to be redecorated to the customer's requirement.
